Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to oversee CapEx and strategic engineering projects. This role drives infrastructure improvements, enhances production, and supports long-term growth through cross-functional collaboration.

Main Job Responsibilities:

Provide engineering support in developing new, or improving existing equipment or facilities Lead the end-to-end execution of CapEx and other significant engineering projects, from concept development through commissioning and handover. These projects could be in support of implement new or improving existing equipment, facilities or processes Develop detailed project scopes, budgets, timelines and risk assessments Coordinate with internal departments (Health and Safety, Production Departments, Quality, Distribution, Finance) to ensure alignment, support and coordination Manage external contractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of the projects Monitor project progress, and ensure compliance with health and safety, quality and regulatory standards Resolve issues when they arise, or escalate as required Prepare and present project updates, reports and documentation to the Engineering Manager and senior leadership Support the development of long term capital plans, and contribute to strategic investment decisions Ensure all projects are executed in accordance with company policies and with industry best practice

Person Specification:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field); Master's degree is a plus A minimum of 7 years experience in engineering roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment Proven track record of managing capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling and vendor management Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, equipment installation, and process improvement Excellent project management skills with proficiency in tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence without direct authority Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards Exposure to lean manufacturing philosophies. Hands on approach Possess fluent English, both verbal and written.
