The Team



The Engineering team at FundApps is a team of ca. 50 smart, friendly people who collaborate closely and take pride in delivering best-in-class software and providing an extraordinary experience to our clients. What You'll Be Working On

Senior Software Engineer

, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact projects from start to finish. You'll tackle complex business problems, contribute high-quality code, and collaborate closely with your team to achieve great outcomes. You'll also help guide others, sharing your expertise to support their growth.

You will use your hands-on knowledge to advocate for improvements to the platform to support ambitious plans to grow market share and launch new products. You'll play a key role in delivering projects from start to finish, engaging with stakeholders and helping you team work effectively to get the job done right. You will be comfortable slicing stories to minimise risk and ensure a consistent cadence, modelling these good working practices to colleagues.


You will be able to proactively identify and lead cross-team initiatives which leads to improvements. You are able to demonstrate solid business acumen and can have an impact across multiple teams. You are able to take ownership of projects and lead the team to successful outcomes.


You will have an understanding of good practices and patterns of software and cloud native architectures. You will also know how to use these to deliver high quality software and add meaningful value. As well as being a strong individual contributor, you will be able to plan works, lead the team in assessing the risks and work with product managers to make project decisions.


You will be able to share knowledge and best practices with the wider department. You value transparency and can communicate effectively; shedding light on potential hurdles before they arise as well as when the unexpected happens.

A Few Things To Know Before You Apply



Work Eligibility



We require candidates to have permission to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

We work hybrid and ask that new FundAppers spend 3 days per week at our shiny London office during their first 6 months, to make the most of getting to know the business and other FundAppers.



After that, our policy is at least 1 day per week in the office, though in practice, most teams come in 2 days a week to collaborate, connect, and make the most of our shared space.
