The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior
Naval Architect
or
Mechanical or Subsea Engineer
(or similar)with
maritime experience
- to join our team and take the lead on the mechanical design and development of LARS and other marine equipment. This is a key technical role, suited to someone who wants to be deeply involved in engineering delivery and make a real impact on project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and analysis of mechanical components for offshore and marine environments using 3D & 2D CAD (Solidworks preferred)
Perform stress analysis, hand calculations, and FEA as required
Develop test plans and support mechanical product testing
Prepare specifications and support procurement and manufacture
Write technical reports and documentation
Develop operational procedures and vessel integration plans
Support the engineering manager in tracking, review and approval of engineering deliverables
Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams including naval architects, electrical, fluid power, and control systems engineers
About You
You're a technically strong engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems and taking full ownership of your work. You bring a practical mindset, strong design skills, and experience in one or more of the following areas:
Marine or offshore systems
Safety-critical systems
Rotating machinery
Offshore lifting
Hydraulics and fluid power
