We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Ware based team to work in the R&D pilot plant space.


This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in advancing innovative solutions within GSK's engineering and manufacturing operations. As a Senior Engineer, you will lead technical projects, solve complex challenges, and contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality products. Collaboration is at the heart of this role--you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders to drive impactful results. Our approach to R&D

In this role you will:

Lead technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Solve complex engineering challenges using innovative approaches and data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all engineering activities. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, driving efficiency across operations. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Why you?

Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for a professional with these required skills to achieve our goals:


BSc or equivalent and ideally working towards chartership. Experience working in a GMP Pharmaceutical environment. Audit experience in a pharmaceutical environment. Experience of matrix leadership.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:


Automation or Electrical Engineering background. Experience working in the OSD manufacturing space Experience leading teams and direct reports.
