About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Structural Engineer to lead a Structural and Asset Design team under the general direction of the Design Manager. The successful applicant shall co-ordinate the workload of the team and provide expertise for the Service in the field of Civil Engineering Structures and Asset Maintenance.



The successful applicant shall have a relevant Degree and/or be Incorporated member with a relevant professional institution and have demonstrable evidence of relevant experience in steel, concrete, timber and masonry design.



The successful applicant shall have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in Structural Engineering Design processes or have demonstrable evidence of experience in the management and financial control of large (up to 2M) and small construction schemes.



In addition to the above, we require an individual with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. A successful applicant without the requiredWelsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the desired standard within two years of appointment.
