Role Overview
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Engineering Transformation Consultant to drive strategic improvements across our trading solutions engineering organization. This role will focus on improving stability, reliability, and productivity through enterprise-level transformation initiatives that enhance engineering excellence and operational performance.
The successful candidate will architect and implement comprehensive transformation programs that modernize our engineering practices while maintaining our competitive edge in the fast-paced trading technology landscape.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the engineering transformation strategy across people, processes, and technology.
Assess current engineering capabilities and design multi-year improvement roadmaps.
Implement frameworks to strengthen system stability, reliability, and performance metrics.
Drive adoption of DevOps, SRE, and automation practices to improve delivery efficiency.
Establish quality, testing, and release standards that enhance predictability and reduce defects.
Lead cultural and capability-building programs that foster collaboration and continuous learning.
Partner cross-functionally to align engineering outcomes with business and regulatory priorities.
Guide technology modernization and tool adoption to enhance productivity and maintainability
Requirements

  • 12+ years of engineering leadership, including 5+ years managing large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience in financial or trading technology environments and mission-critical systems.
  • Demonstrated success implementing measurable improvements in reliability, agility, and quality.
  • Strong technical background in distributed systems, cloud, automation, and reliability practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at executive levels.
