The Senior Data Analyst will support a range of ESG quantitative analysis to support the Global Sustainability team as well as members of the equity, fixed income and multi-asset team focused on providing customized sustainable solutions.

The Global Sustainability team are subject matter experts on environmental and social issues and work in tandem with the Governance team to support Analysts and Portfolio Managers in integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations into the investment process. The position provides deep knowledge of our investment organization and how we interact with Investments and partners across the organization.

Principal ResponsibilitiesConduct quantitative analysis on the ESG characteristics of investment portfolios (includes development and maintenance of code for portfolio reviews) Conduct quantitative analysis to support new and manage existing sustainable mandates Collate and analyze sustainability data required for sustainable mandate reporting (impact KPIs, etc.) Assist in the design and testing of new ESG client reporting modules Participate in pre-trade monitoring Maintain standard data in models that does not have a vendor feed Support the team in managing and monitoring the ESG exclusion process Assist in ESG vendor due diligence and ESG data quality reviews Assist in aggregating data for entity-level reporting


PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Required:Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Outstanding analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative Strong coding skills in Python Excellent Excel skills Ability to communicate well - oral and written Ability to learn and work with multiple systems effectively Ability to multitask, prioritize work collaboratively and independently Resourceful, self-motivated, and intellectually curious with strong attention to detail Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships

Preferred:Knowledge of Power BI Experience with ESG/market data services preferred (Bloomberg, Sustainalytics, MSCI ESG etc.)
