Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase, managing all aspects of cost estimation for a range of construction projects. You'll work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor work Analyse project drawings, specifications, and documents to understand scope and requirements Lead and coordinate tender/bid submissions and cost proposals Collaborate with project and procurement teams to optimise cost strategies Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, trends, and pricing Review post-tender results and support value engineering processes

Requirements:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in construction estimating (commercial and/or residential) Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field Strong analytical and mathematical skills Proficient in estimation software Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
