Cocktail Week is a dynamic and growing series of events across 20+ major cities in the UK & Ireland, designed to showcase the best in cocktails and hospitality while driving footfall to local bars. With a focus on supporting local businesses, our events have become significant tourism drivers and industry highlights. As we expand, we are seeking a Senior Events & Operations Manager to lead our team, manage the day-to-day running of the office, and oversee the successful delivery of our national events programme.



The Role

This is a senior leadership role with both strategic and operational responsibility. As Senior Events & Operations Manager, you will not only plan and execute Cocktail Week events across multiple locations but also manage the team and office operations to ensure everything runs seamlessly. You will act as the central hub of the business: overseeing staff, coordinating partners, and ensuring projects remain on time and on budget.

You'll work closely with hospitality venues, drinks brands, and sponsors, while also managing internal workflows and office operations to ensure the smooth delivery of all events.

Key Responsibilities

o? ?Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Cocktail Week events across the UK & Ireland.

o? ?Manage and mentor the office team, freelancers, and on-the-ground staff to deliver high-quality events.

o? ?Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.

o? ?Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, sponsors, and drinks brands at both local and national levels.

o? ?Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics.

o? ?Ensure projects remain on track, addressing challenges proactively and keeping stakeholders informed.

o? ?Work with the marketing team to align promotional campaigns with event objectives.

o? ?Monitor event performance, gather feedback, and implement improvements.

o? ?Report regularly to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

What We're Looking For

o? ?Experience in event management or the drinks industry, ideally within the hospitality, food & drink, or lifestyle sectors.

o? ?Proven track record of managing both events and teams.

o? ?Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving.

o? ?Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with confidence managing multiple stakeholders.

o? ?A proactive, solutions-driven mindset, able to keep projects moving in a fast-paced environment.

o? ?Experience with sponsorships, partnerships, and brand activations.

o? ?Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
