Role Responsibilities
Non-Nat Cat Exposure Monitoring: Conducts exposure monitoring, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
Regulatory & Internal Reporting: Prepares exposure data for internal and regulatory reporting.
Catastrophe Modelling Oversight: Runs catastrophe models and interprets outputs for business use.
Data Quality Assurance: Performs data checks and ensures consistency in modelling inputs.
Tool & Dashboard Development: Contributes to tool testing and enhancements with MI teams.
Managing Outsourcing: Coordinates with vendors to ensure timely delivery of outsourced tasks.
Event Response Coordination: Assists in exposure estimation and reporting during catastrophe events.
Stakeholder Communication: Supports communication of exposure insights to underwriters.

Technical Knowledge & Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a maths, science, or geography-related field.
Experience in utilising any market Terrorism specific models is essential; Touchstone, Sequel Impact, Exposure Hub, Insurwave, AdvantageGo etc
Experience running and interpreting outputs from catastrophe models (e.g. AIR, RMS).
Competent in SQL scripting and exposure data manipulation.
Working knowledge of geospatial tools and exposure databases.
Proficient in Excel and comfortable producing technical reports and summaries.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Maintains strong organisational habits to manage workload and support project delivery.
Provides support to managers and may mentor junior analysts on best practices.
Communicates effectively within the team and with adjacent functions.
Contributes to presentations and reporting packs with clear, concise input.
Works well in cross-functional teams and demonstrates a cooperative attitude.
