The Planning, Performance and Transformation team is seeking a Senior External Reporting Officer to join a newly formed team.The post holder will support a wider team in sourcing, analysing and reporting to a range of external audiences, including commissioning bodies and professional, and statutory and regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will have a curious nature, a passion for data and analysis, strong numerical skills, experience of working with stakeholders/external agencies and a love of solving problems. They will bring experience of turning data into actionable insights and reports.

The post will be based in the Planning, Performance and Transformation at the University of South Wales. The primary function of the team is to:
support the implementation of the University's strategy and plans, including leading the progress review and impact of the delivery; support the delivery of the USW Transformation Programme in line with the USW 2030 Strategy oversee and develop the annual planning process and support planning in Faculties and Professional Services; provide timely and accurate returns for external agencies including Medr, which underpin the University's funding and performance information; analyse and publish management information to inform the University's decision making; oversee the operational delivery of key external and internal student satisfaction surveys create regular briefings for senior management and the Board of Governors on University performance.

Based at Pontypridd, with some home working, this role will provide you with a role where you can utilise your range of organisational, interpersonal and research skills to support the senior management team of the University. This is a full-time permanent post.
