This full-time senior clinical fellow post in obstetrics and gynaecology is based at Princess Anne Hospital, University Hospital Southampton -- a centre of world-class care, pioneering innovation, and excellence in education and research.
Aligned with our ethos of patients first, working together, always improving, the fellowship offers personalised mentorship, advanced clinical training, and professional development to support doctors working towards specialist registration via the Portfolio Pathway.
You will contribute to general obstetrics and gynaecology care, including out-of-hours duties, while benefiting from a structured and supportive training framework designed to:
1. Facilitate specialist registration through a systematic program aligned to GMC Portfolio Pathway guidance.
2. Tailor the experience to your background and skills, helping you evidence the RCOG curriculum competencies.
3. Provide flexibility, supporting completion within a reasonable timeframe.
4. Focus on measurable, outcome-driven training that meets RCOG and GMC standards.
5. Support your professional and personal growth, preparing you for the diverse responsibilities of a consultant.
