Robert Half is recruiting for a commercially minded Senior Finance Analyst to join a dynamic finance team based in Bridgwater. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a salary of 55,000 - 60,000, with an expectation to work on-site 3 days per week. In this position, you will work closely with senior finance leaders, delivering insightful financial analysis and providing clear, practical advice to key stakeholders. As a Senior Finance Analyst, your expertise will help guide informed financial decisions that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed budget reviews, forecasts, and performance analysis to support senior management.
• Challenge financial assumptions, identify risks, and uncover opportunities to improve value for money.
• Drive cost efficiency initiatives and ensure financial plans are achievable and effective.
• Support cash flow forecasting and assist with audit processes as needed.
• Coach and mentor teams on best financial practices to strengthen financial governance.
• Step in as deputy to senior finance management when required to maintain continuity.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Senior Finance Analyst or in a similar finance business partnering role.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex financial information clearly and confidently.
• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Understanding of external market factors affecting financial strategy.
• Part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA) preferred.
• Experience with financial software such as SAP, Anaplan, PowerBI, or similar is beneficial.
• Committed to continuous improvement and leading by example.
