We are looking for a Senior Finance Assistant within Client & Carer Financial Services which is a finance team for Adult Social Care (ASC). The role is within the Financial Assessment and Benefits team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a customer service/administration background who enjoys supporting people and working in a deadline driven environment.
You will need to be confident in handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls working directly with service users and/or their representatives and support workers.
You will also manage email queries and requests within our busy team from our service users and from the social work teams.
You will need to be able to identify service users who require a financial assessment from reports, emails and our systems. Attention to detail is important as it is essential that records are updated accurately which will include managing spreadsheets.
We work mainly from home but you may be required to work in the office at times (City Hall)
This post is required for Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Working hours each day to be agreed.
