Hartley Pensions are looking for an experienced finance assistant to play an integral part of our financial administration. This is a highly unique and rewarding opportunity in supporting the business during a significant period of transition.

Role
As the Interim - Senior Finance Assistant, you will be working closely with the Finance Supervisor and Financial Controller. Your duties include the following:
Responsible for billing all revenue streams and responding to any queries.
To oversee posting of all receipts per SLA for reporting on weekly receipts analysis for our administrators to review.
You will be responsible for the timely monthly cash collection for current and aged debt. This includes providing key oversight for the reconciliation of pooled bank accounts.
To be accountable for updating debtor balances for transfer out team's trackers.
Ensuring completeness and accuracy of cashbook.
Preparing management accounts pack including posting journal and reconciliations
Manage the team mailboxes and ensure timely responses per SLA.
Assist the Finance Supervisor and Financial Controller with ad hoc tasks to assist transfer outs.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Substantial experience in a high volume, complex business (ideally regulated).
Either AAT qualified or qualified by experience. (study support is not available)
Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAGE 50 (ideal)
The ability to manage a complex and varied workload with exceptional attention to detail.
A solid foundation in understanding of tax, accounting principles, and financial controls
Able to be proactive in maintaining clear written and verbal communication to clients, third party stakeholders and colleagues across the wider business
