Job Description

Here at Mulberry Waste, we are looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join our group Finance department based at our Head Office in Leyland, near Preston.

As a Senior Finance Assistant, you will play an integral part in heading the finance functions and admin for the wider group.

You will play a critical part in managing financial operations and contributing to our mission of sustainable waste management. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to environmental responsibility while ensuring financial efficiency.

Responsibilities

Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals. Prepare detailed financial reports for management review. Monitor compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Assist in the development of financial strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Qualification in Book keeping, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the environmental services sector. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
