Job Description

Provide strategic financial insight and support for complex housing services and large social housing contracts.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and in-year financial reporting across core service and housing-related areas.
Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, providing challenge, insight, and direction on financial performance.
Deliver cost-focused financial projects, including efficiency reviews, cost base analysis, and strategic resource allocation.
Support commercial and financial modelling for tenders, re-tenders, and large social housing contract negotiations.
Lead on cost centre and P&L performance reviews, ensuring corrective actions are identified, implemented, and tracked.
Provide financial input into the design and mobilisation of new services, ensuring cost structures are sustainable.
Promote financial literacy across operational teams, ensuring resources are aligned to strategic and contractual priorities.
Lead financial partnering across high-volume social housing services.Drive financial insight to strengthen sustainable service delivery.
Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with 5+ years' post-qualified experience.
Strong track record in senior business partnering and cost management.
Must have experience within a large housing association or local government housing department.
Experience working with or overseeing large social housing contracts is essential.
Proven experience leading value-for-money, efficiency, or cost-transformation projects.
Commercially minded, analytically strong, and confident influencing senior stakeholders.
Collaborative, proactive, and aligned with the organisation's social mission.
