Financial Business Partner

Heathrow (hybrid working)

Responsible for ensuring efficient and effective financial control (reporting, budgeting, forecasting) with operational teams to drive performance and profitability.

  • Continually improve the quality, accuracy and timeliness of financial information to key stakeholders
  • Prepare forecast/budgets and present with full explanation key movements to General Manager Finance and Ops Director
  • Coordinate the closure of the operational month end accounts to the set deadline
  • Ensure that all operational month end accounts are accurate provide a full understanding of any deviations from flash /budget and any future impacts of current deviations
  • Ensure all internal/external weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports are complete and accurate prior to submission
  • Continually challenge the financial results with unit managers
  • Assist in setting, monitoring, maintenance and improvement of operational KPI\'s, highlighting any issues and support resolution
  • Support the identification of operational efficiency opportunities, assist with cost control and cost reduction projects
  • Ensure all financial processes are adhered to
  • Assist in commercial reviews, providing financial evaluation and support
  • Collate, challenge and report the effects of any disruption to the business immediately to aid fast decision making to reduce EBITDA effect
  • Assist in Capex budgeting, forecasting and preparation
  • Deal with ad-hoc financial queries from Units as and when required
  • Assist the Finance team in other projects, ad-hoc tasks and cover as and when required
Requirements:
  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA or be in the process of achieving final accreditation.
  • Strong management accounting and analytical skills are essential
  • Be commercially astute, with the ability to drive financial performance with key stakeholders
  • A proactive approach and a collaborative attitude
  • Ability to build business relationships and interact with internal customers, with the ability to solve problems
  • Have a track record of supporting the delivery of profit improvement plans
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills and good IT skills (SAP useful)
Fluent in English, oral & written
