An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance team in a newly created role, Senior Finance Business Partner reporting to the Finance Director - Financial Planning and Reporting.

Location:

Head Office, Middlesbrough

Working Arrangements:

Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. Hybrid working available with a minimum of two days based in the office.

As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:

Leading, supporting and developing a team of Business Partner Accountants, as well as embedding a finance business partnering approach throughout the business.

Provide financial expertise and advice on new commercial opportunities, initiatives, investments and projects.

Preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans with continuous monitoring of performance against them to enable robust reporting of variances to management.

Oversee the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information presented.

Support the Finance Director - Financial Planning and Reporting with continuous improvement initiatives seeking efficiencies and best in class practices.

We are seeking someone who:

Is a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with 3+ years post qualification experience.

Has experience in a business partnering or financial leadership role.

Has a proven track record of utilising systems to drive insight using financial and non-financial data.

Has excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills.

Has strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop employees.
