Are you a commercially minded finance leader ready to drive performance and shape strategic decisions? Hendy Group has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Head Office team in Eastleigh.
The Opportunity:
The Senior Finance Business Partner provides financial leadership and oversight across assigned sites and regions. You will be responsible for reviewing outputs from Finance Business Partners, ensuring accuracy, consistency and actionable insights are delivered to operational leadership and senior management.
You will play a key part in influencing performance by identifying risks and opportunities, driving improvement in financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Role responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of Finance Business Partners, ensuring delivery of accurate and meaningful financial outputs.
  • Review and challenge financial results, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified, communicated, and escalated appropriately.
  • Provide clear financial insight to support business performance discussions and decision-making.
  • Ensure budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting are produced accurately, consistently, and on time.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of manufacturer composite reports, ensuring data integrity and timeliness.
  • Review and oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards

About You:
  • Proven track record in financial business partnering, commercial finance, or management accounting.
  • Previous experience managing and developing finance teams.
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA) or educated to degree level (2:1 or above) or QBE with significant relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, insight-driven mindset.
  • Able to communicate complex financial information clearly to a non-finance audience.
  • Experienced in working within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment - automotive or similar multi-site experience is a plus.
  • Confident using Excel and financial systems to deliver actionable reporting.
