We are looking for a highly motivated and agile Senior Finance Coordinator to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team in Sutton Coldfield to be responsible for maintaining financial and lease accounting documentation within Tririga. You will also uphold relations whilst offering support and guidance to Legal, Estates Management and Acquisitions, Franchisees, Landlords/Agents, and internal stakeholders on matters relating to the accuracy and completeness of UK & Ireland entities financial statements.

What will my accountabilities be?

  • Effectively carry out all transactional accounting and financial reporting duties associated with UK & Ireland Real Estate portfolio.
  • Responsible for maintaining the CAMs schedules within Tririga, including year-end budget information, which drives financial reporting.
  • Prepares, records, analyses and maintains lease accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records and expense for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies, regulations and principles.
  • Understanding and analysing reconciliation of accounts and recording adjustments where deemed vital.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with Estate Management, Acquisitions, Franchisees, Finance, Landlords/Agents, Legal, Councils and Office colleagues to provide a valuable network of contacts to assist speedy and agreeable query resolutions.
  • Maintain regular communications with Franchisees regarding accounting updates of their estate including recommendations for financial accruals.
  • Being aware of the quarterly timetable for the client portfolios for all regular charges and ensuring these timescales are met.
  • Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules on timely basis.
  • Responsible for customer support, including exception handling and responding to / resolving resulting queries.
  • Ensuring processes are compliant with SOX regulations, RICs requirements and reporting standards.
  • Review business processes, gathering information to recommend and develop improvements and efficiency savings whilst ensuring that control compliance and data integrity are preserved.
  • Utilise advanced Excel functionality, system tools and macros to streamline processes and remove manual touch points.

  • Use CI methods to determine value-add solutions that improve customer experience and efficiency and effectiveness of GBS Finance procedures.
  • Defines Career ambitions and identifies objectives and development goals, completes documentation to support Performance Motivation outcomes.

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations e.g., Bank Reconciliations
  • Accruals & Prepayments
  • Journal Posting
  • Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables & V-Lookup\'s

Nice to have:
  • Hands on experience with IBM Tririga.
  • Working towards a professional Finance or Accountancy qualification.
  • Experience working with 3rd parties / vendors.
