Towards the end of 2021, we announced our intention to divest our Intelligence businesses and to put the full focus of the Group on the two markets where we have scale leadership positions: B2B Markets and Academic Markets. On 1 June 2022, we completed the first of these divestments, with the sale of Pharma Intelligence for \xc2\xa31.9bn.



Our Informa Tech FP&A team is currently looking to hire a Senior Finance Analyst on a Fixed-Term Contract basis for a duration of 9 months, as a maternity leave cover.

The Senior Finance Analyst is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:

  • Produce the Divisional Monthly Trading Update.
  • Coordinate additional Half Year & FY reporting to Group
  • Assists roll out KPI tracking across the division.
  • Stat adjustments
  • Support on Budget & 3YP consolidation
  • Help with GAP II tracking
  • Delivering requirements autonomously and under limited supervision
  • Delivering high quality business commentary and presentations right first time, including excellent \xe2\x80\x9cstory telling\xe2\x80\x9d skills
  • Effectively dealing with ambiguity, uncertainty, and urgent time critical responses
  • High resilience, ability to deal with dynamic environment and make change happen
  • Build and maintain relationships with peers across finance & non finance contacts to drive cost management including use of recharges, and the underlying methodology / volumes / support KPIs.
  • Build and maintain a good relationship with the SSC, supporting the design, build and execution of operational processes that deliver accurate, timely, and insightful information. Review and approve month end flash commentary, and provide high quality commentary to central management team and other stakeholders
  • Support the divisions vision and business strategy. Enforce and communicate Informa\xe2\x80\x99s Group Finance policy and ensure adequate governance & controls are in place. Support external and internal audits as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience of financial support at Senior Analyst-level for a technology organisation
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Finance processes, systems, and ways of working
  • Recognised professional Chartered Accountancy qualification/certification (e.g: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
  • Working exposure and knowledge of dealing with mergers, acquisitions & disposals (MA&D)
