We're a dynamic, growing 10m turnover business with a small, agile team, looking for an experienced and hands-on
Senior Finance Manager
to join us on a part-time basis potentially an option for a permanent position. This is a key leadership role within our finance function, offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact while enjoying flexible working hours.
You'll be continually driving and reviewing performance. Understanding everyone in the team, their work output, developing and measuring competencies to support them to be the best they can be.
Responsibilities
Oversight and management of company cashflows to ensure strong financial control and liquidity
Provide guidance, oversight, and support to the Management Accountant
Review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness & communicating these appropriately with any 3rd parties
Manage and nurture relationships with key banking partners
Lead asset funding strategy
Collaborate with departmental heads to support financial planning and strategic decisions
Step into day-to-day finance operations when needed -- we're a small team, so getting stuck in is part of the way we work
Requirements
Qualified with proven experience in industry.
Leadership experience, ideally in SMEs or fast-paced environments
A hands-on, pragmatic approach - comfortable balancing strategic input with operational tasks
Strong financial reporting, cashflow management, and stakeholder communication skills
Proven ability to manage and mentor team members
Self-motivated and self-directed. Able to see what needs to be done and take action to make it happen
Experience working with banks and external financial partners
