This is a new role created to manage and support the European team of Operations Finance Analysts, reporting directly to the Finance Director - Global Ops.


Along with the Global Ops Analysts, this experienced individual will contribute to the provision of financial and performance results, while ensuring the appropriateness and application of financial policies and procedures in the control environment.


This individual will deploy their expertise and impart best practice to augment the policies and processes in Operations, and enhance financial insight presented to the SLT, Operations Directors and the wider business. There will also be opportunity to share knowledge in the Finance Transformation workstream as part of the Detection Acceleration plan.


The role will involve regular communication of management information and will support the Finance Director in providing strategic input, identifying business risks and proposing mitigating actions.

Qualifications



Ideally possess a recognised accounting qualification; significant experience in Operations/Manufacturing accounting is essential. Exceptional SAP technical skills and knowledge, including master data and system structure. Expertise in Excel and M365 tools, capable of handling large datasets using Power Query. Strong grasp of best practices and processes in Operations (Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Warehouse). Excellent management and leadership skills, balancing collaborative and questioning communication styles. Extensive knowledge of inventory accounting with a global perspective. Proactive, accountable, and reliable. Experience with large organizations and consolidations is advantageous. Educated to university degree standard and hold a recognised accounting qualification (CPA, CA, CIMA or equivalent experience). Significant post-qualification experience. Technical skills in Power Query, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, ability to design and structure large datasets into robust models.
