We are a UK-based group of training companies seeking a
Senior Finance Manager

You'll work closely with an outsourced bookkeeping team, external accountants, and a UK-based finance and payments team. The role involves reviewing stakeholder outputs and driving process improvements across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Ensuring that the accounts across group companies are up to date every week
Weekly confirmation of P&L and Balance Sheets across businesses
Auditing and cross checking sub-contractor payments, allocations and general ledger
Ensuring Weekly receivable follow-up and ongoing credit control.
Helping the finance team members meet their ongoing deliverables and coaching and developing them.
Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, reports, and analysis.
Streamlining and improving finance and accounting processes.
Candidate Profile Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience working with UK small business accounts and managing a team
Relevant qualification in finance, bookkeeping or accounting.
Experience with Xero and a track record of automating or simplifying finance workflows.
Excellent MS Office knowledge, strong IT familiarity, and solid numeracy skills.
High attention to detail, willingness to work hard, with an aptitude to learn, tenacity, and a growth mindset.
The role is being advertised as a hybrid role based out of our London office but we are open to fully remote options for the right applicant. Applicants need to be based in the UK (with right to work in the UK) due to the nature of our clients.
