Job Description

Our client is a rapidly expanding international sports business based in the heart of London with an ever-expanding footprint and a fantastic culture. Due to the continues growth, they require an energetic Senior Finance Manager to join the finance team on a 12 months FTC basis. This role is a hybrid working role.
The role:

Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and co-lead the accounting team, providing mentorship and daily support.
Oversee general ledger activities and lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Implement and improve key finance processes and internal controls.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, financial schedules, and management reports.
Approve payments and ensure transactions align with policies and contracts.
Support audits (statutory and group), ensuring compliance and readiness.
Provide revenue recognition guidance and review contract terms.
Train junior staff and support finance system rollouts and special projects.
Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain finance documentation.

Skills And Experience:

CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified, circa five years of post-qualified experience.
Sports background (strong preference of Football)
