Due to the growth of the Wessex Learning Trust, we are currently looking to appoint a dedicated Senior Finance Officer to support our schools/academies and the Wessex Learning Trust Central Finance team. The key purpose of this role is to provide a finance service provision to named schools within the Trust to include the preparation and monitoring of school budgets and financial accounts in addition to supporting the finance functions of the Central Services team assisting in the delivery of the annual and monthly financial timetable.
Candidates will need to demonstrate the following:
A good understanding of financial management and accounting
ICT literate with experience of financial systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
A sound working knowledge of school financial practices and programs (training will be given)
Ability to work in a changing environment
Positive and enthusiastic approach with excellent organisation and attention to detail
