Senior Accountant

Location:

Glenfield, Leicester (Hybrid - 50% office-based)

45,000-55,000 dependent on experience

We're looking for a

Senior Accountant

to join our team and play a key role in managing and developing a client portfolio. If you're passionate about supporting clients, love a variety of work, and want to be part of a friendly and ambitious team, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

You will own relationships, run the meetings and deliver the technical workload for your portfolio of clients, including:

Preparation of company accounts and tax returns Self-assessment tax returns including MTD VAT returns and compliance Management accounts and reporting CIS returns Payroll processing and advice Ad hoc advice/queries Software queries

What we're looking for

ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Proven experience working in an accountancy practice environment Demonstrated experience managing a client portfolio independently A track record of growing client relationships and portfolios Strong working knowledge of

Excel

and cloud-based accounting software such as

Xero

and

QuickBooks

Excellent communication and client-facing skills Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
