You'll be joining a collaborative finance team where your input will be valued, and where you'll work closely with stakeholders across finance, operations, tax, and audit. As a key member of the central finance team, you'll be responsible for statutory reporting, tax support, VAT returns, lease accounting, and fixed assets. This role will also play a vital part in ensuring compliance, improving internal financial controls, and streamlining processes across multiple entities.
This role comes with an annual salary of up to 60,000.00.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 101 across a portfolio of entities
  • Coordinate and support the preparation of corporate tax computations
  • Complete and submit accurate quarterly VAT returns
  • Manage lease reporting under IFRS16 and oversee fixed asset accounting
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting of related-party transactions
  • Support internal control improvements and ensure audit readiness
  • Keep up to date with evolving financial reporting standards and advise on impacts
Candidate Experience, Qualifications and Skills:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience in statutory reporting and compliance in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards including FRS 101 and IFRS16
  • Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel capability
  • A detail-focused approach with the confidence to challenge and improve existing processes
  • Effective communicator with experience working cross-functionally
