Job Description

This is an opportunity to join the finance team of the London Ambulance Service Trust (LAS), one of the largest and busiest ambulance services in the world.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis and management accounting across Operations, Corporate, or Support Services directorates. This includes preparing complex reports, managing forecasts, supporting budget holders, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and statutory duties.

Main duties of the job
The post is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The role involves advising managers on financial matters, preparing complex reports, managing the month-end process, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and audit recommendations.
It also includes supporting staff development, and working closely with senior stakeholders to manage budgets, assess financial risks, and contribute to strategic planning and operational improvements.
