Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual
Senior Financial Controller
to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be a key financial leader, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, reporting, and control activities for our expanding portfolio of African companies, including those based inLibya, Congo, Senegal, Ghana, and Ivory Coast
.This role requires a dedicated professional with fluency in
French
and deep experience managing complex, multi-jurisdictional accounts, ensuring compliance and providing strategic financial insight to the management team.Key Responsibilities
Financial Control & Reporting:
Manage and oversee the end-to-end financial operations for the designated African entities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records. Lead the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, adhering to Group policies and relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/local GAAP). Conduct comprehensive variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on the financial performance of each region. Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with local accounting and financial service providers across the African regions.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 80,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in London E14 9YD
