Senior Football Coach
Job Description
We are recruiting experienced football coaches to support and lead delivery at our Rochester Academy weekly programmes.
This role involves working alongside other coaches while taking responsibility for sessions and small-sided games, managing groups of up to 20 young players.
We Make Footballers is a nationwide coaching organisation delivering high-quality football sessions for children aged 4 to 12, catering for all abilities. Our focus is on building strong technical foundations and supporting each child's individual development.
We welcome applications from coaches with a background in grassroots or commercial football environments who are confident working with children and managing behaviour. Ideally, candidates will hold an FA Level 1 qualification and an Emergency First Aid certificate.

Availability required
Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 8pm
or
Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pmCoaches must be based in or around Rochester and have their own transport.
Pay
20 per session Up to two sessions per shift
Desirable
FA Level 1 qualification or higher Emergency First Aid certificate Current DBS check (support available if required)
Essential
At least two years' experience working with children (for senior coach roles) Own transport and living in Medway or within walking distance of ME1 3BY Willingness to complete the FA Level 1 if not already qualified Confident, engaging delivery style Strong communication skills with the ability to project your voice clearly
