Senior FP&A Manager

This position is based in Bulgaria, Germany, and the UK with remote/hybrid working options. Applicants must have a work/residence permit for the respective location.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead the development and consolidation of the annual operating budget and multi-year financial forecasts. Partner with department heads to gather budget inputs, provide financial guidance, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Conduct detailed variance analysis of actual financial results against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and providing explanations. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for the VP, FP&A, CFO, and other senior management. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. Drive continuous improvement in budgeting and forecasting processes, tools, and methodologies. Assist in the preparation of financial materials for board meetings and investor presentations. Analyze key financial metrics and trends to provide proactive insights and recommendations. Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by the FP&A team or executive leadership.
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong emphasis on budgeting and forecasting. Proven experience as an individual contributor managing complex financial models and processes. Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and financial modeling best practices. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets and present clear conclusions. Proficient in Microsoft Excel for advanced financial modeling and data manipulation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Advantages:

Experience in a SaaS or technology company. Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion). CPA or CFA designation, or actively pursuing. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
