About the role:




We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Modelling Analyst to join our dynamic financial planning & analysis team. As a senior analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the build and maintenance of a range of financial models utilised for business planning and analysing Sage's business and carrying out financial analysis.



This output is pivotal in driving future decision making in the business and providing leadership and external stakeholders valuable insight. You will play an active part in the planning, design and development of new models as well as, reports and analysis. As part of a fast-growing and dynamic business, there are ample opportunities to get involved in something new and support the business in new ways and assist in driving the investment and funding choices that Sage make over the coming years including helping our investors to understand and manage their investment.



This role is located in our London office (Covent Garden) with hybrid working arrangements of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home if required.



Duties include:


Supporting in the maintenance of company's long term corporate model and presenting ongoing improvement and development opportunities. Taking ownership and responsibility over key areas and inputs to the model. Collating information from across the business to prepare analysis and reporting for Sage's lenders and investors. Ad-hoc financial and operational analysis for key senior stakeholders within Sage. Assisting in the 30-year regulatory financial forecasting of the business. Working closely with our Corporate Finance team.

About you



ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent. Highly proficient in financial modelling and analysis with expertise in building complex financial models using Excel. Senior business stakeholder management with commercial and operational mindset. Ability to Influence and communicate effectively. Financial Modelling / Strong Excel Skills. Strong analytical skill set - identify key drivers, problem solving. Valuation and returns analysis experience.

Desirable but not essential:


Experience in real estate or social housing. Experience in banking, Big 4, private equity, or working with private equity investors. Experience of forecasting and budgeting.
