Senior Fraud Analyst

The Role




We're on the lookout for a Senior Fraud Analyst to play a pivotal role in safeguarding our Cards and Vehicle Finance products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact team that's passionate about staying ahead of fraud trends and driving innovation through data.


As we transition to modern platforms like Snowflake and Python, you'll be at the forefront of transforming our fraud analytics capabilities. You'll work alongside fraud experts, data analysts, and cross-functional partners to develop smarter strategies, enhance detection rules, and protect our customers across every channel -- from applications to digital payments.

As a Senior Fraud Analyst you will:



Develop, implement, and refine fraud detection rules

and strategies across applications, transactions, payments and digital channels.

Monitor fraud trends

and performance metrics to identify emerging threats and recommend proactive countermeasures.

Collaborate

with fraud operations, technology, and product teams to ensure effective end-to-end fraud prevention and response.

Analyse

large datasets using SQL, SAS, Snowflake and/or Python for advanced analytics and automation.

Support the development of fraud reporting dashboards

and insights to inform business decisions and regulatory compliance.

Lead and contribute

to fraud related projects, including system enhancements, data migrations, and process improvements.

Engage with industry peers

, forums, and external partners to share insights, benchmark practices, and stay informed on evolving fraud trends and technologies.

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in analytics Extensive experience with data analysis tools such as SQL and SAS. Exposure or interest in Snowflake and Python In-depth knowledge of fraud detection systems, such as ThreatMetrix is very beneficial Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets Excellent communication skills, ability to translate complex data into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences Comfortable engaging with external stakeholders and representing the bank in industry forums
