About Gurt Wings:

Gurt wings is a multi-award winning fried chicken street food company, based in the South West of England. Founded by James, a chicken wing and buffalo sauce fanatic. A brand best known for succulent wings, strips, chicken salt tater tots and over 16 handmade sauce recipes. With 3 Trucks and 2 fixed locations, Gurt Wings has grown significantly in the past year. They opened their first flagship restaurant in February 2025 on the busy site of Wapping Wharf, Bristol, which has exceeded expectations and has become a popular hub for many. We're looking for someone who is familiar with the brand, energetic and has a drive to provide a high standard of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Rotate confidently between roles including bar tending, guest relations, food running, tills, and saucing -- or jump in wherever needed! Show a can-do attitude, eagerness to learn, and flexibility to adapt to different roles and tasks throughout your shift. Provide friendly, high-energy customer service that reflects the Gurt Wings vibe. Keep all front-of-house and catering areas spotless, including public seating and service points. Communicate clearly with customers in the queue -- managing expectations and updating them on wait times with a smile. Support smooth and efficient service by working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining our top standards at all times. Uphold Gurt Wings' quality and consistency, making sure every customer has a top notch experience.

Requirements:

Available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays without hesitation. Work in a fast-paced food or drink environment and know the rhythm of great service. Understand hygiene and food safety and are happy to uphold high standards. Thrive in a team setting, support your crew, and keep the energy up even during busy shifts. Communicate clearly, stay friendly under pressure, and always put the customers first. Up for trying new things, jumping into different roles, and learning as you go.

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
