Skyports Infrastructure

plays a vital role in the Urban Air Mobility ecosystem, designing, building, owning, and operating vertiports that enable eVTOL operators to take off and land in cities around the world.

Skyports Drone Services

uses drones to streamline logistics, capture data, and enhance operational efficiency, with a focus on rural deliveries, surveying, surveillance, and maritime services.

The Role:

We're looking for a

Senior Frontend Engineer

with deep expertise in building modern, scalable web applications. Here's what you'll bring:

Proficient in a modern front-end framework such as React or Angular

- You've designed, built, and maintained robust frontend applications using React or Angular in production. You can provide guidance to other developers on React/Angular best practices, performance optimization, and conduct high-quality code reviews.

Web & cloud expertise

- Strong knowledge of frontend builds systems, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, state management, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines. Experience integrating with cloud services for authentication, storage, and APIs.

UI/UX collaboration

- Experienced in collaborating with product and design teams to create intuitive user interfaces, and skilled at translating wireframes and user flows into elegant, responsive, and accessible designs.

API integration

- Experienced in consuming and integrating RESTful and/or gRPC APIs, with a strong understanding of security, caching, and real-time updates (e.g., Web Sockets, SSE).

Real-time data systems

- Comfortable building data-rich interfaces powered by real-time event streams from platforms like Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, or WebSocket services.

Leadership in fast-paced environments

- Proven track record as a Senior engineer in high-growth or startup environments, with the ability to build, mentor, and guide frontend teams that are highly focused and adaptable to changing business needs.

Agile mindset

- Comfortable in rapidly changing environments, working iteratively with SCRUM and Agile methodologies.

Global collaboration

- Effective communicator and resilient contributor in distributed, cross-functional teams.

Ownership

- You take initiative, lead from the front, and deliver high-quality outcomes with accountability. You also have experience with defining and managing frontend software development budgets and associated costs.

Continuous learning

- You stay current with emerging frontend frameworks, best practices, and industry trends.
