Senior Frontend Engineer
to join our Engineering team and help drive the future of our user experience. You'll join a team of like-minded engineers, where you'll have the autonomy to identify and deliver real-world improvements, not just in features, but in how we build, test, and maintain our frontend systems. You'll work closely with UX, Product, and other engineering leaders to shape our technical direction and deliver impactful, high-quality software to our customers. This is a great opportunity for an experienced frontend engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving product and engineering challenges, and is eager to contribute beyond the code, influencing design systems, mentoring others, and improving how we work as a team.
Still not sure?
You'll be joining a collaborative, experienced engineering team where autonomy is encouraged, feedback is constant, and your ideas are valued.
We're product-focused and ship fast, and you'll have the space to shape how we build and scale our front-end experience.
You'll deliver meaningful projects that improve our customer experience.
Play a key role in contributing to our engineering culture within a high-growth company backed by private equity.
Our Engineering team is remote first and we pride ourselves in offering an unrivalled work life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Own the front-end user experience: Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to shape and implement elegant solutions that solve real user problems.
Evolve the front-end platform: Identify opportunities to modernize and scale our frontend architecture by introducing new patterns, tooling, and frameworks that improve performance, maintainability, and developer experience.
Champion continuous improvement: Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and lead the adoption of innovations that elevate our engineering practices, design consistency, and overall user experience.
Drive design systems forward: Contribute to and help evolve our UI component library and design language to ensure consistency and scalability.
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code: Deliver well-tested, peer-reviewed code in alignment with best practices and quality standards.
Lead by example: Act as a technical mentor to other engineers and foster a culture of learning, quality, and continuous improvement.
Drive incremental delivery: Help break down complex UX improvements into small, shippable increments to get fast feedback from real users.
Remove friction: Identify and solve problems in our delivery process or tooling that slow down front-end development.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with engineers, staff engineers, and tech leads to ensure alignment with our architectural direction and long-term technical goals.
Champion the user: Ensure UI work supports a consistent, accessible, and inclusive experience across devices and demographics.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
You're a senior engineer with front-end experience and deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.), and the broader web platform.
Experience delivering complex UI features or components in a SaaS environment, ideally at scale.
A proactive mindset and a bias toward action; you enjoy solving real problems and seeing your work in user's hands.
Experience collaborating with Product and UX to shape and ship high-quality, usable interfaces.
Proven ability to mentor, lead by example, and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
Familiarity with component-driven design, testing practices, and UI architecture.
Excellent communication skills, you can translate technical ideas clearly to team-mates and stakeholders.
Previous exposure to agile product teams and incremental UX delivery.
Desirable skills include:
Experience with Angular (v17+) and Angular ecosystem tools (e.g., NGXS, Jest, Signals).
Experience working with Figma, Storybook, and component libraries.
Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., SpecFlow, Cypress, Playwright) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
Experience improving frontend performance, accessibility, and observability (Datadog, SonarCloud, Snyk, etc.).
Proficiency in front-end performance optimization, including benchmarking with Lighthouse and profiling browser runtime, rendering and network performance.
