Job Description

As the Senior Fulfilment Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring clients receive top-quality service. In many cases serving as the primary point of contact, your excellent interpersonal skills will be vital in fostering positive client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for supporting with the management of daily business operations efficiently and promoting a high standard of customer service. You will manage warehouse interactions, coordinate service requirements, and support operational efficiency in a fast-paced logistics fulfilment environment.

Key Duties:



A fulfilment coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of order processes for customers. Here are some key responsibilities associated with this role:

1.

Service Coordination:



Collaborate closely with clients to understand and meet their service needs.

Act as the initial contact for clients, requiring strong customer service and communication skills.

2.

Operational Support:



Oversee daily business operations to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Support the fulfilment centre's operational efficiency by streamlining processes and improving workflow.

3.

Warehouse Support:



Assist the warehouse team with administrative tasks related to goods receiving, inventory management, order processing, and shipment tracking.

Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery.

Be proactive in visiting the warehouse to identify and address any bottlenecks, ensuring operations flow smoothly.

Prepare and maintain detailed reports on warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

Collaborate with warehouse staff to address and resolve any operational issues affecting order fulfilment.

Monitor warehouse performance metrics and assist in implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Relationship Building

:

Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients, the operations team, and service providers.

Communicate effectively to ensure successful collaboration.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and promote best practice and continuous improvement initiatives.

5.

Issue Prioritization:



Prioritise issues based on severity and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Administrative Tasks:



Manage administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining records.

7.

WMS Administration and Management:



Administer the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring data integrity and system efficiency.

Manage and process transactions to support the Warehouse Operations and Account Management Teams.

Troubleshoot and resolve WMS-related issues, coordinating with IT support as needed.

Conduct regular audits of WMS data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Generate and analyse WMS reports to monitor warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.

Team Culture:



Take on responsibilities of peer's duties during absences and peak trading periods across multiple sites.

Foster a cooperative team environment.

9.

Peak Trading:



Work outside normal hours during peak trading times to meet client expectations and needs.

10.

Billing:



Ensure timely reporting and updating of billing information.

Capture and report any ad hoc client requests to the billing team.

General



Comply with processes and procedures as documented and/or directed by management.

To support international clients, you may need to travel internationally to manage overseas projects.

Skills / Attributes Required



1-3 years of industry experience or related customer service experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to build client relationships.

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Strong analytical and organization skills.

Diligent and conscientious.

Able to work under pressure.

Ability to prioritise work.

Capable of self-motivation to be able to pick up the reins and hit the ground running.

Out of hours support



It may be required when necessary to be available out of hours for support in the case of important projects.

Advantageous Skills/Attributes



Experience working with Supply Chain, WMS, ERP, Financial, CRM Systems.

Experience of working in a global 3PL environment.

Understanding and/or experience of Retail, eCommerce, or similar trading markets.

Experience of working with methodologies such as SCOR, Six Sigma, Prince2.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-37,000.00 per year
