Job Description

Our client, an award winning web & digital agency with an exciting and elite client base, is looking for a full-stack developer with extensive experience in creative agencies and a diverse skill set. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering innovative bespoke campaign projects with exceptional user experience.

Proficiency in modern frameworks and the ability to develop customised CMSs, APIs, and admin portals are essential requirements. The candidate should be highly skilled in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Node.js, NoSQL, MySQL, Docker, and GitLab.

In addition, the ideal candidate should have professional experience with the latest JavaScript frameworks, including Vue.js, NuxtJs, ReactJS, and Next.js.

The successful candidate will work on high-profile projects for world-famous music artists and brands, across multiple platforms. You will be a senior developer who enjoys a challenge, possesses a wide range of hands-on technical abilities, and is determined to overcome technical hurdles. You should be a proactive problem solver, take ownership of solutions, and deliver high-quality work within agreed timeframes. Good communication skills are a plus. Above all, you should be passionate about technology, continuously learning and keeping up with the latest web and tech developments.

The Person:

The ideal candidate for this role must enjoy working on complex and innovative bespoke digital projects, with the ability to work on multiple platforms while focusing on the end-user. They should also possess a technology-agnostic approach to development. In addition to technical skills, effective communication and problem-solving skills are crucial. The ideal candidate should be motivated to work collaboratively, take ownership of solutions, and deliver high-quality work. A passion for technology, web development, UX, and design is highly valued. The candidate should be able to understand project requirements, exceed client expectations, and assist the Technical Director with day-to-day responsibilities, depending on experience. Mentorship, encouragement, and the ability to teach colleagues are also important skills

Essentials Skills:

Digital agency experience, Communication skills, Web development languages and tools; HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript MVC PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Lumen), MVC JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, ReactJS, Angular) Server tools, web applications, and SOAP/RESTFUL APIs, Version control: GitLab/Github,Working on multiple branches and maintaining code with the rest of the team, Command-line interfaces, Task runners and dependency management tools: Grunt, Gulp, Bower, Webpack, NPM, Composer, Devops: Site deployments and processes for testing, staging, and production Environments, Local development, automation, and DevOps tools (e.g. Vagrant, Docker, Jenkins), Code optimization, asset management, and caching techniques, Bug fixing and logical troubleshooting, Modern JavaScript standards (ES6, ES2016) HTML5 CANVAS WebGL, and building rich immersive user experiences Agile/Lean Agile/Kanban working practices and tools
