Job Description
Our Client was founded to deliver on a promise of better fit. They are in a period of growth, driven by a rapid expansion in the range.
They cover most styles of trouser and denim, but also increasingly top half categories including jersey, knitwear and jackets.
Their supply chain reaches from Portugal, to Asia (in Sri Lanka) and the Far East (in China and Vietnam).
In this role you would:
Organise fit sessions, write up findings and insights, and reflect in block work and measurement specs. Liaise with factories to update patterns and update the pattern library. Book in samples as they arrive and meet clear standards in terms of comment turnaround for Protos, PPSs and Top Samples. Willing to visit factories to inspect inline and in QC, spot issues and recommend process improvements. Aggregate and analyse QC results and test reports, sharing the findings and escalating where necessary.
You will bring:
Experience in and authentic passion for menswear. Ideally a focus on tailoring and wovens at the premium or luxury end of the market. Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for product quality. You miss nothing and are motivated by making beautiful product. High levels of organisation, evident in planning, project management and time management skills. Experience in organising and running fit sessions, drawing conclusions and arriving at clear actions. A high level of comfort in Excel (which we will test). Plenty of hustle: a track record of self-starting and unblocking in low-structure environments. You know how to figure it out! A willingness to be in the office in Richmond 4 days a week * A willingness to travel, often at short notice.
