Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Gas Engineer with an electrical bias to join our field service team. This role involves maintaining, servicing, repairing, and installing a wide range of industrial process equipment, including gas burners, electrical control systems, industrial ovens, paint spray booths, and air handling units. There is potential to progress into a management role as the business continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, service, repair, modify, refurbish, and install industrial process equipment. Work on electrical systems, control panels, and gas burners. Install and modify cables, control circuits, and gas burner systems. Conduct routine and ad-hoc servicing, inspections, and risk assessments. Liaise with customers on-site and remotely, ensuring excellent service. Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, and company regulations. Complete safety-critical and statutory works on schedule. Work safely at height, using PASMA and IPAF where required. Work efficiently under pressure across multiple sites.

Skills & Qualifications:

Full UK Driving Licence. Level 3 Electrical Installations or NVQ Electrical (preferred). AM2 Certification. 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations. Commercial Gas Safe qualification. Competent in Microsoft Office. Basic administration skills preferred. Experience with industrial equipment, gas burners, and electrical control systems.
