We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting environmental projects through data collection, analysis, and reporting. Duties



Conduct environmental assessments and site investigations using specialised equipment and methodologies. Analyse spatial data using GIS software such as QGIS and ArcGIS to support project planning and decision-making. Develop detailed maps and visualisations with AutoCAD and GIS tools for project documentation. Perform scientific research related to ecological systems, pollution control, or habitat conservation. Collect, process, and interpret environmental samples in laboratory settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilise programming skills in Python for data analysis, automation, modelling, or scripting tasks. Apply mechanical knowledge to operate or maintain environmental monitoring equipment. Support horticultural assessments by evaluating plant health and ecological conditions in various environments. Prepare comprehensive reports summarising findings, recommendations, and compliance documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications



Proven experience with GIS software such as QGIS and ArcGIS is essential. Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Python programming. Background in scientific research or environmental science is highly desirable. Knowledge of AutoCAD for technical drawings and mapping is advantageous. Laboratory experience related to environmental testing or biological analysis is preferred. Mechanical knowledge relevant to environmental monitoring equipment will be considered a plus. Experience in horticulture or ecological assessment enhances suitability for this role. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills for preparing reports and liaising with clients and stakeholders. Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
