Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in a care home setting. Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support residents in daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Help develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Provide assistance with mobility, including using mobility aids as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members. Experience in senior care or within a care home environment is highly desirable. Supervising experience is an asset for those looking to take on leadership roles within the team. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation as required. A valid driving licence may be beneficial for transporting residents when necessary.
