We are seeking a

Wake Night

Senior Care Assistant

who is passionate about providing exceptional person-centred care and leading a team to make a genuine difference in residents' lives.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality personal care that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Support residents with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, eating, mobility, and continence. Work collaboratively with nurses and families to develop and maintain personalised Care Plans. Administer and manage medication safely in line with policy and best practice. Supervise, support, and inspire the care team, conducting regular supervisions and appraisals. Participate in resident activities, ensuring a homely, inclusive environment. Maintain accurate care records using digital systems (e.g., Nourish). Uphold health and safety standards, infection control, and safeguarding practices.

Person Specification

Skills & Knowledge:

Excellent communication and organisational skills. Basic IT literacy and ability to prioritise under pressure. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care. Recognised medication administration qualification. Proven leadership experience within a care environment.
