is a family run business, with four Care homes in our Group. We have a fantastic team of enthusiastic carers and would love for you to be part of the team.

We are looking for

experienced and dedicated Senior Care Assistants

to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the care team, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care in a safe and homely environment. You will support

both residents and colleagues

, helping to maintain a positive, respectful, and caring atmosphere.

Beechcroft Care Homes Ltd is part of a local community and we prefer that you are based locally to the area, to enable community development.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver high-quality, person-centered care

- Assist residents with daily living, including personal care, mobility support, and emotional well-being.

Lead by example

- Provide guidance and support to care assistants, ensuring best practices are followed.

Administer medications

- Safely manage and administer medication in line with company policies and procedures.

Support residents' well-being

- Monitor residents' health, identify changes in condition, and communicate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Maintain a safe and homely environment

- Assist with light cleaning tasks to ensure a comfortable, welcoming space for residents.

Record-keeping and reporting

- Maintain accurate care records and communicate updates to management and healthcare professionals.

Support the Management Team

in day-to-day aspects of the residents care.

What We are Looking For



Minimum of 2 years' experience

working in a Senior Care role within the UK (essential) Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors

RQF Level 3 in Health and Social Care

(or willingness to work towards it).

Experience in

medication administration

is desirable.

Leadership skills

- Ability to support and mentor care assistants.

A compassionate, patient, and professional approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-13.15 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
