We are currently seeking an experienced

Senior Healthcare Assistant

to join our care team and support both residents and colleagues through exemplary leadership and hands-on care.

The Role

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will act as a role model for the care team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered. You will support the team with clinical tasks, daily care routines, and documentation, while providing comfort, dignity, and companionship to residents.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, support, and mentor healthcare assistants during shifts Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities Administer medication in line with policies and training (where applicable) Monitor residents' wellbeing and promptly report any changes Maintain accurate care records and contribute to care planning Liaise with nurses, families, and external professionals Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment Support new starters with training and induction

About You

Previous experience in a care home or healthcare setting NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills Compassionate, patient, and committed to high quality care Confident in medication administration (training can be provided) Able to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure

Pay: 13.60 per hour
