Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Healthcare Assistant

to join our team in the

Barking and Dagenham

area. In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a drive for excellence in senior care, and the ability to assist in implementing care plans effectively.

Please note: a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role. Mileage is reimbursed in addition to your hourly wage.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in senior care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. A genuine passion for providing compassionate care to elderly individuals. Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and work under pressure.

Pay: 24,420.00-36,700.84 per year
