We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure as directed by healthcare professionals.
Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene standards.
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a comforting atmosphere.
Assist with feeding and hydration needs of patients who require help.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding any changes in patient condition or concerns.
Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development to enhance skills.
Experience
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
A caring attitude with strong interpersonal skills is crucial for success in this role.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within a healthcare environment is advantageous.
Certification in First Aid or CPR is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
