Senior Healthcare Assistant (SHCA)
to join our
integrated palliative care team in the community
.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will:
Provide high-quality support and care to patients at the end of life in their own homes.
Act as a patient advocate, ensuring dignity, respect, and individual needs are at the heart of everything you do.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team delivering community-based palliative care.
Contribute to the development and evolution of services to meet the needs of patients and families.

NQV Level 3 in Health and Social care
Highly organised, self-motivated, and committed to continuous service development.
IT literate and confident in using digital systems for care planning and communication.
Effective interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, communicating with patients, those important to them and colleagues
A team player with a strong sense of accountability and compassion.
Experience in end-of-life care or palliative care is desirable.
Experience of lone working in a community setting is desirable.
Driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for work purposes
